Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2018 Topic: EFFECTIVE PRAYERS Text: Read: Romans 2:13 Daily Bible Study: Num. 1-2; Mk. 2 “For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified” (Rom. 2:13). Prayer is our greatest form of communication with a holy and righteous God who has provided a way for us to not only worship Him but to also know Him personally. Through prayer, we discover the depths of God's mercy and love for us. Prayer is our means of confessing our sins, and receiving God’s forgiveness. It is also our means of asking and receiving blessings from God. In spite of these advantages, many till avoid prayer. The Bible tells us that, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (Jas. 5:16). Who then is a righteous man and how does he pray effectively? Righteousness means doing what is right according to the Word of God. A righteous man wants to see God's Truth and will establ
SEX IS SWEET BUT. Have you ever wondered why God carefully positioned a membrane of blood in a lady’s sexual opening? It is a thiny membrane that partially or completely covers the opening of the vagina. It is called the “HYMEN”. Why would God-Our Maker put a breakable tissue full of blood at the very door of the sexual opening of the female? Why is it so carefully placed at that entrance, like a ribbon tied at the entrance of a new house about to be launched? Why is it filled with blood that spills away when it is broken? Why? Without doubt, the HYMEN IS A GATE! It was God (our creator) who set that blood- filled vessel there as a covenant blockage, a sign and a token of a covenant between the bearer and whoever plunges into her opening. Before God, the disvirginity of a lady is not a casual act of fun. It is a serious covenant struck and confirmed by the blood shed on that day. This is God’s way of saying, “Whoever plunges into this woman shall only be able to do so by making a blo

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2018 Topic: AVOID ONE-SIDED RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD Text: Read: John 15:5 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 26-27; Ps. 29 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5). Do you have people in your life who only come to you when they want something from you? Conversations that always revolve around the other person's needs make it hard to develop true friendship. These one-sided relationships can lead to us feeling used and manipulated. Yet that is exactly what we do to God when we only approach Him in prayer with a list of needs and desires. We often give God our long lists of prayer requests without spending any time praising Him, thanking Him for our past blessings, or seeking a relationship with Him. We pray concerning future events without acknowledging His help in the past. Our forgetfulness is an indication of our in
*🌀I JUST SAW THIS NICE STORY WITH A  WONDERFUL LESSON AND THOUGHT TO SHARE IT WITH YOU, PLEASE ENJOY:* An old King realized that if he died he had no one to take over his throne. He decided to adopt a son. He launched a competition and 10 boys made it to the top. The King said to them, "I have one last test and whoever comes top will become my adopted son and heir to my throne". He gave each boy a seed of corn and told them to take the seed home, plant and nurture it for 3 weeks. The 10 boys took their seeds and ran home to plant their seeds. In one home, the boy and his parents were sad when the seed failed to sprout. The boy had diligently done everything required but he failed. His friends advised him to buy a seed and plant it, but his God fearing parents who had always taught him honesty refused. The day to give account to the King came and the 10 boys went to the palace. All the other 9 boys were successful with their seeds. The King went to each boy aski

When Benhadad king of Syria besieged Samaria, they ran out of food after many days and there was a “great famine” in the land. Cornered by difficult conditions, the King blamed Prophet Elisha. But Elisha was not afraid; rather, he demonstrated his confidence in God and prophesied what would happen the next day. This is the kind of confidence we all need to have in God and avoid worrying about the economy, relationships, health, and other events in the world. The Bible teaches that God already knows the future. If we trust in Him, we will have peace. He is always ready to take away our burdens, meet our needs, and direct our steps. Confidence in God is available to all who know Hi

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2018 Topic: OUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS THANKSGIVING Text: Read: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 22-23; Ps. 28 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thess. 5:18). The Lord is the Almighty and worthy of our thanksgiving, honour and praise. No service can be greater than this. Some people do not see the need to participate in their church or fellowship thanksgiving events because they claim that all has not been well with them, so they see no reason to be thankful. There may have been business setbacks, examination failures, lack of promotion, job loses, death of loved ones and other seemingly adverse situations. But the very fact that we are still alive is enough reason to be thankful. As Christians, we should cultivate the habit of giving thanks to God, no matter the situations we are facing because what seems adverse to the human eye may be part of God’s gre

CANCER IS NOT DEADLY Dr. Muthami says,  No one must die of cancer except out of carelessness; (1). First step is to stop all sugar intake, without sugar in your body, cancer cell would die a natural death. (2). Second step is to blend a whole lemon fruit with a cup of hot water and drink it for about 1-3 months first thing before food and cancer would disappear, research by Maryland College of Medicine says, it's 1000 times better than chemotherapy. (3). Third step is to drink 3 spoonfuls of organic coconut oil, morning and night and cancer would disappear, you can choose any of the two therapies after avoiding sugar. Ignorance  is no excuse. Let everyone around you know, it's a sacrilege for anyone this day to die of cancer; God bless.
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 Topic: WALLS OF PROTECTION Text: Read: Proverbs 25:28 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 20-21; Matt. 28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Prov. 25:28). In Old Testament times, walls around a city were a symbol of strength and security. Without walls, a town would be left open to easy attack, not just from humans, but even from wild animals. When Prophet Nehemiah realized that the walls around the city of Jerusalem were in ruins, he wept and mourned certain days; fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). As it is to a city, so it is to an individual; a person who has no self-control is like a city without walls. He or she is open to enemy attacks at any given moment. When we fail to exercise self-control, the spirits of lying, gossips, backbiting, hatred, tribalism, racism, jealousy, rage, frustration, bearing false witness, and more, can enter our
YOU GREATEST ENEMY Who killed Samson? Delilah or the Philistines? None of these options is correct. Permit me to tell you how Even if there were 10,000 Philistine soldiers, they couldn't have defeated Samson. Do you know why?  Samson's strength was not of this world; it was divine. As long as no one can defeat God, no army could have defeated Samson no matter how strong or many Samson was raised a terror for the Philistines. He killed a lion with his bare hands, lifted the gate of a city on his shoulder and walked over 46 miles; he killed 300 Philistines soldiers with a jaw bone. What if he got a spear or sword? So, who killed Samson? The answer is Samson. Yes! Samson killed himself! A man is his greatest enemy. What an enemy cannot do to a man, he would do to himself. Samson killed himself. He delivered himself to the lap of Delilah and used his own mouth to tell the secret of his power. His life promised so much but delivered so little The Bible says, "People

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2018 Topic: BEWARE OF THE MASTER OF DECEPTION Text: Read: 1 Peter 5:8 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 18-19; Ps. 27 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet. 5:8). Popular culture portrays Satan as a red creature with horns and a pitchfork. But in reality he manifests in less menacing and less obvious forms. He is the evil master of deception and camouflage, adept at sneaking into peoples’ lives undetected. As Scripture tells us, “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Cor. 11:14). To fight this enemy, we must first recognize him. He may come disguised as a friend, but his aim is to deceive us and make us to live as enemies against God our Father. Satan fell because of questioning God's supreme authority. Since the time of Adam and Eve, the devil has continued to spread this rebellious thought-pattern to humanity. Man is alwa
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2018 Topic: DEFEATING APOSTASY Text: Read: 1 Corinthians 15:57 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 16-17; Matt. 27 “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Cor. 15:57). One way by which the enemy leads us into apostasy is by inspiring us to do things through our own power and intellect instead of relying or consulting God. In the book of Numbers 16 we learn about Korah, who appears to have been articulate and charismatic. He probably wondered why God had chosen poor, stammering Moses as a leader instead of himself. Korah rebelled against Moses' authority even though Moses was God's choice. Moses' response to Korah's attack was to go down on his face before the Lord (Num. 16:4). God responded quickly. The ground opened up and swallowed Korah and his 240 supporters, and a plague killed 14,700 more. Korah's rebellion led to tragedy for himself and for others as well. Sin
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2018 Topic: WHEN FACED WITH EVENTS OF LIFE Text: Read: Hebrews 13:5, 6 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 14-15; Ps. 26 “…. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Heb. 13:5). When faced with various life events whether good or bad, a believer should be armed with faith that is built upon the word of God. Knowing what God says about us and His will concerning the issues of life is paramount to living a stable Christian life and our source of stability and strength when various circumstances arise. Our God is faithful; He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can endure (1 Cor. 10:13). We should learn to trust in the Lord, knowing that he will not fail nor forsake us (Heb. 13:5). This faith becomes a shield to us and is pleasing to God. The book of Romans 8:28 says “… all things work together for good to them that love God…” We can therefore put our trust in Him, not depending on our own understanding of the situati

THE 99 CLUB There once lived a king who, despite living a luxurious life, was neither happy nor content. One day, the king came upon a common peasant who was singing happily while he worked. The happiness of a common peasant fascinated the king. Why was the ruler of the land with all the luxuries, unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly peasant had so much joy in his life? So the king asked the man, "why are you so happy?" The man replied, "Your Majesty, I am a common man, but my family and I don't need much, "Just warm food to fill us and a roof over our heads." Dissatisfied with the man's answer, the king sought the advice of one of his trusted advisors. The advisor said, "Your Majesty, I believe that the man has not yet been made part of the 99 club." "The 99 club, what is that?", inquired the king. "Your Majesty, to understand the 99 club, you first need to place 99 gold coins in a bag and leave it on the man

In God’s service, it is not what we want that matters but what our heavenly Father decides we should do for Him. We are His bondmen redeemed to Him by the blood of Jesus Christ His Son and our Saviour. Our tasks can either be in an exalted position or in a lowly and obscure duty post. What should be of primary interest to us is that we are found worthy to be called to service by Him. It is a privilege we should be grateful for. Secondly, we must realize that there is a reward for service. This knowledge should propel us to give our best in whatever we are called to do. The book of Hebrews 12:2, tells us that Jesus, “for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”. There is a Joy of
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2018 Topic: STANDING FIRM Text: Read: 2 Thessalonians 2:15 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 10-11; Ps. 25 “Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught whether by word, or our epistle” (2 Thess. 2:15). Apostle Paul informed the young believers in the busy seaport of Thessalonica that they would suffer hardships and persecution for their beliefs. He knew their beliefs would be tested and so encouraged them to be prepared and to overcome by standing firm on the doctrines of Christ received from the apostles. Today, just as in the time of the Thessalonians, our faith in Christ is constantly under attack. Christian beliefs are laughed at and criticized by the heathen, who lack adequate knowledge of the word of God. In many places, Christians are not even allowed to preach, conduct evangelism, and have public prayers or to meet and worship. Our moral values are also under attack. How should we r

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2018 Topic: JESUS CHRIST THE ONLY SAVIOUR Text: Read: 2 Corinthians 4:3-6 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 8-9; Matt. 25 “For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord” (2 Cor. 4:5). God's truth is always attacked by the enemies of righteousness. Many modify the message of Christ and water down the truth of the Gospel to appease and swell their congregations. These false messages come from Satan, the god of this world. He continues to deceive and blinds the spiritual eye of many to the truth of God’s Word. Many actually prefer to hear these lies because the truth is too hard for them to accept. While many seek to modify the true Gospel, we must preach Christ, who loves us so much that He chose to die a criminal's death on the cross in order to pay for our sins and to set us free. Christ's payment for our sins is the only source of our salvation. We must preach Christ, who healed the sick, raised the dead
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2018 Topic: JESUS SAVES Text: Read: John 12:46-47 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 6-7; Ps. 24 “….I come not to judge the world, but to save the world” (John 12:47). Believers must understand that salvation is not a burden or an obligation but a joyful experience. That being saved opened the door to a wonderful relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a glorious thing and believers should feel delighted to spread the tidings all around, bearing the news to every land; that Jesus saves! We are to tell sinners far and wide about Christ and the free offer of salvation He gives to all mankind to be saved. We still may face battles from powers of darkness and may also encounter problems from satanic agents that may cause us to be discouraged, but whatever be the case, we must not allow anything to discourage us from telling others about Jesus. We are to broadcast it boldly and proudly to all men that “Jesus saves.” Jesus s

AT THE AGE OF 18 YEARS *Former Stanford Dean shares the 8 skills everyone should have by age 18* 1. An 18-year-old must be able to talk to strangers, deans, advisers, landlords, store clerks, human resource managers, coworkers, bank tellers, health care providers, bus drivers, mechanics - in the real world. The crutch: We teach kids not to talk to strangers instead of teaching the more nuanced skill of how to discern the few bad strangers from the mostly good ones. Thus, kids end up not knowing how to approach strangers - respectfully and with eye contact - for the help, guidance, and direction they will need out in the world. 2. An 18-year-old must be able to find his way around the campus, the town in which her summer internship is located, or the city where he is working or studying abroad. The crutch: We drive or accompany our children everywhere, even when a bus, their bicycle, or their own feet could get them there; thus, kids don't know the route for getting from
*WHERE ARE YOU GOING???*  - BILLY GRAHAM .......Billy Graham is now 92 years old with Parkinson's disease. In January, leaders in Charlotte, North Carolina invited their favorite son, Billy Graham, to a luncheon in his honor. Billy initially hesitated to accept the invitation because he struggles with Parkinson's disease. But the Charlotte leaders said, 'We don't expect a major address. Just come and let us honor you.' So he agreed. After wonderful things were said about him, Dr. Graham stepped to the rostrum, looked at the crowd, and said, "I'm reminded today of Albert Einstein, the great physicist who this month has been honored by Time Magazine as the "Man of the Century". The person who reacts to life based on sheer human nature is often presumed fickle. When the Israelites were suffering in Egypt under the whips of the slave masters on their backs, they wanted to be free. They cried out to God, and He heard their plea. Then, when faced with slight problems in the wilderness, they complained and criticized Moses, whom God had used to deliver them from slavery. They murmured against Moses even though he did everything for their own good. Whenever they offended God, Moses would plead and intercede before God on their behalf. Moses was patient with those who criticized him. He did not respond in anger or hate. He did not stop interceding for them. He had a Christ-like attitude and was

Some scholars feel that history had not been kind to George McClellan, an American army commander during the American Civil War. He was promoted to commander, of the Northern Armies, but he was never able to deliver victories. He often gave excuses for his loses, and complained that his troops were too small and that he needed more troops. But he did not realize that in fact, his forces in that battle substantially outnumbered those of his adversary. While he complained, the teachers of the rival South Army had realized that they needed to be shrewd and innovative with the resources they had. Many Christians are like George McClellan, not experiencing victory because they are busy complaining,

In the book of Ephesians 6:10-18, Apostle Paul described the armour of the Christian as loins of truth; breastplates of righteousness, shield of faith; and helmet of salvation. You will see that all are for defense, except the sword, which is the word of God, and this is for battle. Jesus terminated His battle with the devil in the wilderness by saying, “it is written…” Therefore brethren, prevailing prayers must involve our entire being and faculties of our spirit, body, soul, heart and brain. We must have full concentration and dedication if we intend to overcome the evil forces seeking our destruction; avert the evil our enemies are sending our way; dethrone evil kings and demonic kingdoms; and overth

Many shy away from growing spiritually because spiritual growth involves abstinence from our “beloved sins” and increased responsibilities, which are a “pain to our flesh”. We prefer to run from our troubles rather than press forward, face and overcome them. The Bible tells us to consider it pure joy when faced with trials of many kinds, because the testing of our faith produces perseverance. And when perseverance finishes its work, we become mature and complete, lacking nothing (Jas. 1:2-4). Apostle Paul was no stranger to hardships. He endured harsh criticisms, beatings, oppositions, imprisonments and near-death situations. He was not always happy, but he found the secret to maintaining his joy: he remained focused on Christ instead of h
FLOUR, AS A CURE FOR BURNS 🔥This is a true life experience of a woman who burned herself ... 🔥. Some time ago, I was boiling corn and poured some cold water into the boiling water to see if the corn was ready. By mistake I dipped my hand  into the boiling water .... !! A friend of mine who was a Vietnamese veterinary doctor had come to the house. So as I howled in pains he asked me if I had a sachet of (wheat) flour at home. I poured out a bit and he put my hand into the flour and asked me to wait for about 10 minutes. He told me that in Vietnam there was a boy who once burned. With the fire on him and in panic someone poured a sack of flour all over his body to try to extinguish the fire. But not only was the fired extinguished there was no trace of burns on the boy !!!! In my own case, I put my hand in the bag of flour for 10 minutes, and then removed it and I did not even notice any red mark of burn after that. Moreover, absolutely NO PAIN. Today I put a bag of flour
GOSPEL MESSAGE: A guy slept off while waiting for his roommate, he keeps late night. As he tried turning around, a huge dark figure with flamy eyes opened his door, he wanted to scream but all strength was gone. Was it a dream or vision? He cant tell. It stared deep into his eyes and handed him a letter, he opened it....... Dear Jude, I couldn't make it home last night because I died. I thought life after death is an elusion but am here lonely and afraid in pains and in torments The torture is unending, I cant explain it but am dying a thousand times in a second. You never told me this place was for real and how to avoid it. We grew up together, went to school together and did everything in common but you never told me about this new life of yours. I asked you severally and you jokingly pushed it aside. I was a good man with a charitable heart but that didn't count here. The angel told me, am without Christ and my n
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2018 Topic: INTENSITY AND COMMITMENT Text: Read: 2 Kings 13:14-19 Daily Bible Study: Ex. 35-36; Matt. 22 “….he said unto the King of Israel smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice and stayed…And the man of God was wroth with Him…” (2 Kgs. 13:18, 19.) King Joash of Israel was moved when the prophet Elisha became gravely ill. The king came to the prophet and wept over him, seeking a word about the future. Prophet Elisha gave King Joash “the arrow of deliverance from Syria and prophesied that he shall smite the Syrians till he consumes them. He then commanded the king to strike the arrow on the ground, hoping he would strike so many times till begged to stop. But he stuck only three times to the anger of the prophet; he was not more intense in striking the ground. His lack of intensity and commitment resulted in only three victories in battles against the Syrian army, partially destroying them. Had he struck more times,
*PSYCHOLOGY OF ANGER* I love this and I thought of sharing it with you.        A professor while teaching, asked his students, “Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?”    The students thought for awhile. One said, “because we lose our calmness.” But the professor asked again, “why shout when the other person is just next to you? Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you are angry?” The students gave some other reasons but none satisfied the professor.   Finally, he explained, "when two people are angry at each other, there is a distance in their heart psychologically. To cover the distance, they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will shout to hear each other through that great distance.”      Then the professor asked, ''what happens when two people fall in love?  They don't shout at each other but talk softly, wh

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2018 Topic: STANDING AGAINST THE CURRENT Text: Read: Psalm 63:1-8 Daily Bible Study: Ex. 33-34; Ps. 21 “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is” (Ps. 63:1). The Holy Bible covers some tough subjects, and postmodernism seems to provide an easy escape. The Bible warns that immorality is sin and rebellion against God. But postmodernism says that our lifestyle is our own personal preference. While the Bible says that God's Word is the final authority, postmodernism says that we are our own judge. No matter what current society’s opinion is, it doesn’t change the Truth of God's Word. The book of Proverbs 14:12 warns that, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Humanistic wisdom and reasoning is a poor basis for determining what is true or false, right or wr
