FEBRUARY 01, 2019 Thank God its Friday! Tate joined me in my car as I drove to work. I dropped him off at 7up bus stop, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. He was heading for his company headquarters at Ajao Estate. I got to work early enough. Not very comfortable because I did not exactly carry out my duties properly yesterday. I eventually defended my activities in the meeting presided by the MD. I left with Dare in our separate cars for Iyare Transport Company to Waybill Oxide pigments heading for Benin to Golden Julirose. Joined the the brethren who visited the Old People's Home at the location. We sang and prayed with the old people and rounded up at 6pm. I left with Tobi to pick up Tate at Itamaga and drop off Tobi at her residence in Itamaga. Drove home with Tate. Hung about at B-Lounge with Tate later in the night. Took 2 bottles of beer and a plate of pepper soup each. Bought a plate of pepper soup as 'take away' for Ify.

For those of you who find my last sentence confusing, know that I wrote the sentence in Pidgin English. A unique form of English widy spoken in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leonne and Gambia. Work activities have been intense all these while. Always stepping up to the plate. Been in the good with Ify. My vehicle has been getting along without an issue. The only snag is that I am kinda low with the cash. Just managing to scrap through. Got a 5k loan from Tate. Tate came into Lagos on the Thursday, 31st. I picked him up at Itamaga and brought him to my home. He left for Abuja this Saturday morning.

THE VOUCE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL FOOD) Date: TUESDAY JANUARY 15, 2019 Topic: KNOWING THE TRUTH Text: Read:  John 8:32 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 35-36; Psalm 15. And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). A lot of people today live their lives in bondage which could come through discouragement, depression, bad moods, slavery to sinful bad habits, and so on. Some have even come to the level of believing that they cannot overcome these bondages on the grounds that they are human. All these bondages stem from the fact that these individuals do not know the truth about God's word or they only know the truth in part. Our Bible text today confirms that our freedom from bondage of sin depends on the amount of the truth of God's Word in us. Little wonder Satan does everything within his ability to prevent man from knowing and holding on to the truth. He wants man to know as little of the truth as possible so that he can remain in bondage
JANUARY 14, 2019 Left home around 6am and picked up Isaac at Itamaga. Left for Benin through Ijebu Ode. Arrived Benin around 10.30am. Very smooth drive. All marketing activities today went so well. Checked into the hotel with Isaac around 5.30pm. Worked on my report for today and caught up on my blog.
THE VOICE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL LESSONS) Date: MONDAY JANUARY 14, 2019 Topic: THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD Read:  Matthews 5:14 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 32-34; Psalm 14. Ye are the light of the worlds (Matt. 5:14). Today, if we were asked to say who the light of the world is, a greater percentage of Christians would say it is Jesus Christ wrong answer! In the book of John 9:5, Jesus Himself said that He was the light of the world as long as He was in the world. He has since left the world about 2000 years ago. Who then is the light of the world? Our text today reveals Christ confirming it that we the believers are the light of the world. This means that it is our responsibility as believers to illuminate the world. Jesus bids us shine with a clear and pure light in this world of darkness. In a world where false doctrines and evil practices thrive, men and women have been thrown into spiritual darkness, groping in the noonday. It is the believers duty to see to it that

Requested Lateef to transfer soft copies to my mail. Funmi noticed me from her cab driving hone at Ketu. She jumped off her cab and joined me in my car. Stopped over at La Cream to buy bread. Bought one for her too. Lively gist all the way home. Always loved Funmi's company. Ify frowned when she learnt Funmi joined me home. Put her mind at rest assuring her no funny games. Slept well. ARE YOU MARRIED?  Read this for 2019 MOST IMPORTANT THING IN MARRIAGE! Uncle Tunde grinned when he saw his daughter, Adunni and the husband Kehinde walked into the house. The old man, was on one of his rare visits to his daughter and in-law. He had to succumb after several pleas from his in-law to move from the confines of Ijebu to Lagos to spend the Easter Holidays. This his in-law believed he needed to comfort the old man from loneliness after his wife’s demise three months ago. After dinner that evening, he whispered to his son in law that if they don’t mind, he would love to have a quick word with the couple after the children have gone to bed. By 9pm, the couple was back to the dinner table to hear what the old man had to say. He started by asking them a simple question “What is the most important thing in your life Adunni ? She replied, “Daddy, it is the kids o! They mean everything to me”. He then turned and asked Kehinde , the son in law the same question, he also be

THE VOICE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL LESSONS) Date: SUNDAY JANUARY 13, 2019 Topic: BE ATTENTIVE IN GOD'S PRESENCE Text: Read:  Acts 20:7-12 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 30-31; Psalm 13. And there sat in a window, a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep and fell down and was taken up dead (Acts 20:9). When a true preacher of God's word visits a town, his sermon is always spectacular – the message, the attendance and the powerful prayers he offers all sum up into an impartation service. Apostle Paul had such an impartation service with the brethren in Troas. The service lasted overnight with brother Eutychus in attendance, who couldn't resist sleep and fell off from the third floor of the building where the service was held. One would expect only those who were serious minded to attend such a meeting, though they didn’t know Apostle Paul would preach that long – past midnight. People often laugh at Eutychus for sleeping off, but what of t
THE VOICE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL LESSONS) Date: SATURDAY JANUARY 12, 2019 Topic: LEARN TO LOVE PEOPLE, NOT THINGS Text: Read:  1 John 2:15-17 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 28-29; Psalm 12. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world (1 John 2:15). Man was created in the image and likeness of God; to serve God, worship God and live like God. All things were made by God for mans use and dominion. Even after man fell due to sin, God still gave man dominion over all things and wisdom to craft out things that he needs from what God has created. These things are to help man in his day to day business and make life less tedious and more interesting. God wants us to love people and use material things. Unfortunately the reverse is the case in the world today as most people love material things and use their fellow humans as tools. This reversal by man is the reason for various crimes all in a bid to acquire earthly riches and material possessions. People set up c
VOICE OF CHRIST (DAIKY SPIRITUAL LESSONS) Date: FRIDAY JANUARY 11, 2019 Topic: AVOID MY WAY OR NO WAY! PRINCIPLE Text: Read:  1 Kings 3:24-27 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 26-27; Psalm 11.  But the other said, let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it (1 Kgs. 3:26). Our Bible text today conveys a popular biblical account that brings to mind one of the wise judgments King Solomon gave in his days. Both mothers were harlots and it turned out that one felt if my child does not live, yours should not live also. We are always quick to pass judgment on the wicked harlot, but this is sadly how most humans today think and act towards others. This story also describes what happens in homes, business ventures, workplaces, neighbourhoods and sadly, the church. Many marriages are on the rocks because one or both partners believe that if an argument does not go their way, there would be no resolution. Church denominations are breaking up more often these days because particular pers
JANUARY 10, 2019 Got to the office without drama at about 8.30am. None of the Executives left the office today. Had a two and a half training session on Marketing/Sales skills. Commenced the general staff meeting with the MD at about 4pm. Two junior colleagues were awarded for improved activities last year. Meeting ended close to 7pm and we immediately held a quick send forth for Mr. Tunde Odumuyiwa. Really touching. He was really honoured with words and gifts. He came along with his two daughters. Everything ended by 8pm. Tunde and his daughters joined me in my car as we left for Ikorodu. They alighted at the roundabout. I arrived home close to 11pm
VOICE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL LESSON) Date: THURSDAY JANUARY 10, 2019 Topic: TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY! Text: Read:  Acts 14:22 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 24-25; Psalm 10. and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God (Acts 14:22). It is not uncommon to hear companies conclude their adverts for bonanzas and bonus offers with the remark, Terms and conditions apply. Same could be said of Gods offer of salvation through Christ Jesus. Our salvation is free but it did not come without a price. It cost God the life of His dear Son  Jesus! We cannot continue in sin and expect grace to keep flowing. Gods offer of salvation in the book of John 3:16 has a condition attached to it  whosoever believes. Believing in the Son of God needs to be unwavering and our faith in God should grow stronger as we continue to serve Him and witness His wonders in our lives. As believers, we are to continue in the faith even in
JANUARY 09, 2019 Got off the bed today at exactly 6.13am and left for work around 6.50am. Called Funmi to let her know i was on my way. She told me she had left earlier. Smooth traffic all the way. Drove away from the office around 11am straight to Somalux and had a meeting with Somadina Okonkwo. Discussed my business plans with him and got his advice. Left fo Acme Rd before leaving for Ikorodu where my activities for the day would be centred. Had discussions with the MD of Lion Paint, reached Mr. Ashish of Cytech Group and the MD of Praise Chem. Visited AMO, but met only the son. Rounded off around 4.20pm and headed for the organ and arrived there at 4.40pm. Service commenced 5pm and ende
*The  Battle ahead, Buhari and Atiku* ~by Rev Bunmi As Black people (remember Nigeria is the most populous black nation in the world) we are looked at as different and inferior. We truly appear feeble and inferior both in thinking and in managing our affairs. We elect known thieves to run our affairs and even kind enough to sympathise with them when they are punished. Former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Joshua Dariye took tax payers money to London, it was Ecological fund for his State. In his luxury hotel suite, he was doling out 50 pound notes to anyone who came. The poor people of Plateau were dying in agony of diseases and poor infrastructure. He was promptly arrested by the British police and huge sums of foreign currencies seized from him. The smart guy managed to escape back home! Home sweet home, the land of the foolish! Dariye was later rewarded by his people by voting him as a Senator.                                                                             Whe
JANUARY 08, 2019 Got off the bed today at exactly 6.08am. Got dressed for work. Ify put my breakfast of yam porridge in a 'cooler' (food flask). Drove straight to office. Good traffic situation. VOICE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL LESSONS) Date: TUESDAY JANUARY 8, 2019 Topic: WORK GENUINELY WITH YOUR HEART Text: Read:  Colossians 3:22-25 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 19-21; Psalm 8. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily as to the Lord and not unto men (Col. 3:23). Right from the Garden of Eden, man has been working and was so designed by God to work and please God while carrying out his work. After man was driven out of the Garden of Eden, mans work multiplied; yet God still wants man to work genuinely with all his heart and to please Him in all things. Similarly, man has from time to time needed service from his fellow man since he alone may not be able to meet up with all that has to be done. Joseph in Portiphars house understood that he had to please his master at all times and he did just that. When workers genuinely please their masters, God Himself is pleased. God expects a good working relationship between an employee and his/her colleagues and also with his/he

VOICE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL LESSON) Date: MONDAY JANUARY 7, 2019 Topic: HARMONY IN THE HOME: RELATIVES Text: Read:  Mark 10:2-9 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 16-18; Psalm 7. What therefore God hath joined together let not man put asunder (Mark 10:9). A widower once wrote on the tomb of his late wife, if only they allowed us to remain as one. His wife had swallowed poison from which she never fully recovered before her death, following increased frustration from her husbands relatives. Our text today points out that what God had joined together, let no man put asunder. Many homes today find it difficult to experience serenity because their fences are too open to external influences from family and friends. Initially, these influences hardly come as threats to worry about, but in the long run, they exploit loose ends and siphon the peace in the home. Of course, it is an error to allow relatives, neighbours and friends to buy ones heart over and ahead of members of the nucl
JANUARY 06, 2019 I woke up late, around 8.30am. Washed my car myself. Informed the Etims I will pick them up around 9,40am. Eventually left with Ify for the organ around 9.38am. Picked up the Etims around 9.48am. Got to the organ just before 10am when service opens. Good service. Pastor Okochi apologized for his utterance at the last Bible Studies class. Bro. Kevin also apologized to the congregation, and especially to Pastor Okochi for his attitude at the last study session. Prepared the levy books for 2019. Before driving home, drove first to Tantalizers, Sabo to get some stuff and returned back to the organ. Spent some minutes waiting for Ify and sorted out issues with the Leader and the Pastor. Eventually left the organ around 2.20pm with the Etims and dropped them off before driving home with Ify. Washed and layer ironed my office branded shirt. Ify sent me to deliver some ice blocks to B-Lounge. Power failure later in the night. Put on the generator for about an hour bef
VOICE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL LESSON) Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SUNDAY JANUARY 6, 2019 Topic: HARMONY IN THE HOME: THE CHILDREN Text: Read:  Ephesians 6:1-3 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 13-15; Psalm 6. Children, obey your parents in the Lord; for this is right (Eph. 6:1). When God evaluated man in the Garden of Eden, He saw mans need for a suitable companion and thus, made the woman. Procreation has been one invaluable gift in marriage that most societies look forward to in new marriages. Children are an heritage of the Lord and unarguably Gods gifts to families. A football match is more likely won by a team whose coach and players understand their roles and play accordingly. God made the man the head of the home. Assisted by his wife, they are both responsible to train, provide, instruct, guide and maintain law and order at home. Both parents naturally demand respect and obedience from their offspring. A child in a home needs to recognize and respect this hier
JANUARY 05, 2019 Relaxed at home today. Later in the evening, assisted Ify to supply ice blocks to B-Lounge. Then left for St. Raphael's Hospital to have my feet examined. Doctor Yusuf attended to me. Blood pressure on the high side 150/90. B.P drugs prescribed and the one to also bring down the swelling. Several tests were also prescribed. ECG, Kidney fn, xray, urinalysis, showed him results of my random blood sugar test which was normal. Paid 1.5k for the consultation. Did costing for the drugs that amounted to 3.3k, and the several test, about 30k. Told the doc I will be back for the rest of the medics. Stopped over at the fuel station to get fuel on my way home. Went to bed early.
VOICE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL LESSON) Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY JANUARY 5, 2019 Topic: HARMONY IN THE HOME: THE WIFE Text: Read:  Colossians 3:18 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 11-12; Psalm 5. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as in the Lord (Col. 3:18). The union of a man and a woman in marriage is a mystery God Himself instituted in the Garden of Eden, and till date, is one of the most fought unions by Satan and his cohorts. Gods intension for the woman is to be a help meet  suitable helper, to complement the mans effort in the home. Marriage was meant to be a holy estate, a means of procreation and expansion of humanity in line with Gods plan and purpose for man. When a pupil submits his assignment booklet to his/her teacher, he/she leaves it at the mercy of the teacher who is also expected to handle the booklet with all sense of care and protection. Same applies to a woman in submission to her husband in marriage. The husband is to han
VOICE OF CHRIST (DAILY SPIRITUAL LESSON) Date: FRIDAY JANUARY 4, 2019 Topic: HARMONY IN THE HOME: THE HUSAND Text: Read:  Colossians 3:19 Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 9-10; Psalm 4. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them (Col. 3:19). A couple was celebrating their 40th marriage anniversary and the wife remarked from her wheel chair, None else could have loved me like Tom. I owe him. As she spoke, tears rolled down the cheeks of those who knew their story. Their 40th anniversary, blessed with four sons, also marked her 40 years on a wheel chair. An accident had claimed both of her legs on their way to their wedding reception venue exactly 40 years ago. Gods word admonishes the husband to love his wife unconditionally even as Christ loves the Church and gave Himself for the Church. One would wonder how Mr. Tom was able to hold on to his crippled wife for 40 years and counting. The simple reason is unconditional and limitless love. Very few men on earth could

JANUARY 03, 2019 I took today off from work, so I was in bed late into the morning. Planned to visit the hospital later today to have a doc look into my swollen foot. Drove out late in the afternoon, first to an ATM close by and withdrew 5k. I later drove down to Sabo (Ile ekpo Oba), packed in front of Tantalizers at Nipco Filling Station . I then went to the phone technician's. Had to wait for over 30minutes for him to return from the toilet he went to visit. My charging point was the problem. While working on my phone, I crossed the road to the 'aboki' area to buy some items. It took about 30mins for him to get the phone done. He did a good job, and i was so happy the phone is back to normal condition. I parted with Eight Hundred Naira. Meanwhile, my old pal from Yabatech, Femi Kukoyi has been calling. JANUARY 02, 2010 Location: WISPM Meditation Centre, Ibiye (Near Badagry), Lagos. Woken up at 5am by Bros Udugwu to drop him at the Anniversary ground to join other Inspirers to prepare for the Communion with my car. Amarachi Obiah offered to do it seeing I was still feeling sleepy. I handed him my key to do so. Eventually through with the Communion exercise. I left Ibiye with Ify and the Hanson-Basseys for Ikorodu. Smooth drive home. Dropped off the Hanson-Basseys at their door step, made a stop over at the Car-wash while purchased recharge cards before arriving home around 1.30pm. Spent the rest of the day relaxing at home. Had issues with my phone. It refused to get charged. Had to conserve energy by occasionally putting my phone, Infinix X557 (Hot 4) off. Watched telly with Ify through the night before going to bed....***.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 01, 2019 Happy New Year, everyone. Arrived the WISPM camp late yesterday, and took part in the closing programmes of the day's event. Later left for the Meditation Village lodgings with Ify to settle in. Close to Twelve mid night we drove down with other brethren to the anniversary grounds for prayers into the new year. 2019 was ushered in with prayers and a lot of fire works and loud cheerful noises. Had a short sleep and woke up around 5.30am to prepare for the days event. The launching went well with Ikorodu branching exceeding our target of N5Million at the Launch. Met two old childhood friends I have not seen for a while, Chinedu Odiatu and John Nwaàto. Rounded off the Anniversary event between 7 and 8pm and returned to Meditation Camp with ify and the Hanson-Basseys.
