SEX  A man can travel for eight hours 'just to have sex with a female friend and yet, not love her.  Sex makes men act as if they are in love.  The eight hours travel sacrifice, gifts bought, hotel paid for and other expenses may seem to be coming from true love but they were all in the sacrifice for sex and nothing more.  The foolish thing is this, majority of women would jump up inside them and conclude that this is art of true love. Sex is not an art of commitment. Men still leave the women they sleep with on bed and start thinking of the next woman to sleep with. The satisfaction that  comes from sex dies in minutes.  It is in the nature of Lions to go miles to hunt. The same with men. A man who can afford the expenses of flying from UK to Nigeria for sex would do it as if he would never turn to another woman for sex.  Sex drives men to do what seems like the  impossible and such turns women around and they start acting weird. Sex and love are not in the same page ev

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28, 2018 Topic: SACRED SONGS OF PRAISE Text: Read: 2 Samuel 22:47 Daily Bible Study: Deut. 21-22; Mk. 16 “…Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be my God, the Rock, my Saviour!” (2 Sam. 22:47). King David faced extreme ups and downs in life throughout his days on earth. He experienced times of closeness with God that led to victories, and also times that he stumbled along by going his own way against God’s commandments. Yet a constant thing in his life was his sacred songs of praise to God. Even in his state of brokenness, he had praise in his heart for God. In the Scriptures God promised blessings and success for those who obeyed His law. Yet alongside these promises is the reality that “many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him from them all” (Ps. 34:19). In the book of 2 Samuel 22, King David reflects on the power and goodness of the Almighty God. He reflects on the numerous times he sought refug
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14, 2018 Topic: THE IMPORTANCE OF WAITING Text: Read: Psalm 5:3 Daily Bible Study: Num. 29-30; Mk. 9 “My voice shall thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up” (Ps. 5:3). When Jesus commissioned His disciples to preach the Gospel to all parts of the world, He told them to wait until the Holy Spirit had come upon them. They were to patiently wait for the empowerment of the Holy Ghost for effective ministration. This they did patiently while continuing in prayer and praises to God. From the time Prophet Nehemiah received the account from the men of Judah until he took action was a period of about four months. Nehemiah didn't rush into things. He spent time in God's presence, discerning God's will, counting the cost of obedience, and preparing himself for the challenge ahead. Waiting is a very important part of preparing ourselves for service to God. Befo

There are many reasons why people do what they do. Some people come to church today to seek a place of hope, love and kindness. They do not want a place filled with divisions, critics and gossips. There are, however, people who live their lives telling tales about other people. They listen and pretend to care, but are actually talebearers, judgmental and condemning. Have you ever shared your heartache, burdens and deep feelings with another person in strict confidence, only to have them spread it all around? It is a sad thing when Christians carry tales and negativity. A faithful disciple of Jesus Christ should resist the temptation of gossips; revealing confidential information and spreading negativity about others. Negative ta

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: MONDAY, MARCH 5, 2018 Topic: FORGETTING WHAT LIES BEHIND Text: Read: Philippians 3:13-14 Daily Bible Study: Num. 11-12; Ps. 32 “…Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before” (Phil. 3:13). It is nearly impossible to look behind you and continue running forward with the same pace and momentum. You will most likely miss a step and fall down! Our Christian life is very similar to this. What do we do when we trip and fall? We get up, brush up ourselves, forget what is past, but learn from it so we don’t fall again because of it and then keep moving on. The Devil often tries to discourage us from moving ahead by reminding us of our past sins. However, the Bible assures us that our sins and the curse of the law were buried with Christ and we have been raised to walk in newness of life (2 Cor. 6:17; Rom. 6:6-11). We are new creatures in Christ Jesus, and old things are passed away (2 Cor. 5:17).
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SUNDAY, MARCH 4, 2018 Topic: JESUS HOLDS US TOGETHER Text: Read: Colossians 1:17 Daily Bible Study: Num. 9-10; Mk. 4 “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Col. 1:17). Glue is usually applied thinly unto two surfaces to bind them together; without that glue, both surfaces will not stick together. The glue is what links and bonds them. Jesus is our Saviour, Redeemer and King; He is also the link between us and God our heavenly Father. It is Christ who reconciles sinful and imperfect men as we are to a Holy and righteous God – His blood cleanses us from all our unrighteousness. Jesus is the reason we can come to God the Father with confidence to pray and request help for needs, and also have good standing for eternity. Jesus unites all true believers with a common faith and bond that binds us all to God our Father. We cannot pray enough, read enough or minister enough to keep our relationship with God intact, but thr

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, MARCH 3, 2018 Topic: CO-HABITING WITH THE ENEMY Text: Read: Matthew 13: 25-40. Daily Bible Study: Num. 7-8; Ps. 31 “So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares?” (Matt. 13: 27). The Bible records that a farmer planted good wheat seeds but later someone sneaked in at night to plant tares (stubborn weed) on the same farm. This is written figuratively to refer to the works of the enemy among earthly human beings. God created man perfect and put a right spirit within him, but the devil came secretly and put in demons to pollute and derail man from serving God accurately. God allowed both “seeds” to stay side by side sometimes as husband and wife, in-laws, children, brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, uncles, aunties, neighbours, school mates, members of the same church denomination, political party, social club, or as colleagues at work. PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT The police gave us the following tips in the event the robbers manage to enter on to our premises or inside our houses. I hope they're useful to you and can help save a life. 1. Robbers typically launch their attacks from the backdoor (normally kitchen doors) because they are usually not fortified. Get good doors for your kitchen. Use crossbars at the back or "burglarproof" behind the doors inside the house. If you have keys to the burglarproof, never leave them inside the lock. Where possible, use a padlock in addition to the keys. The purpose is to make it as difficult as possible for the robbers to enter into the house and to buy you time to call somebody for help. 2. When you hear someone breaking your doors, unless you are absolutely sure your actions will prevent entry into the house, don't try to be a hero by pushing back behind the doors (they may shoot at you through the doors), or putting heavy items like freezers or furniture behin

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: FRIDAY, MARCH 2, 2018 Topic: TRUST IN GOD FOR VICTORY Text: Read: 1 Chronicles 5:20 Daily Bible Study: Num. 5-6; Mk. 3 “…They cried to God in the battle, and he was entreated of them because they put their trust in him” (1 Chron. 5:20). The Soldiers in Israel’s army were very highly trained and skilled in war. These men were called “valiant” because they were strong and had great abilities. Yet, they only “prevailed” in battle because they always cried out to God and trusted Him for their victory; and He always answered their prayers. Though they fought skillfully and bravely, the real key was realizing that “The battle was God’s”. They did not depend on their own strength or abilities, but relied on God. Trusting in God brought them peace when they might have been worried or afraid. He removed their burdens and assured them that He would help them develop the best strategies of winning wars. He gave them needed wisdom and knowledge. He we
FORGIVENESS Let it go… A Time to Forgive Have you ever felt that you could never, ever, forgive someone for what they did to you, or to a loved one? I have. Or that something you’ve done could never be forgiven, you’d messed up so badly that God couldn’t possibly have any further time for you, even that you’d lost your salvation? I’ve done that too, been there, got the T-shirt. I’m immeasurably thankful that God didn’t leave me wallowing in misery. Through what might seem a random chain of happenings—visiting a bookshop, picking up a book by an author I don’t particularly like, reading a couple of pages I can’t even remember but where the words sprang out with spirit-fuelled power and spoke directly to my heart. I knew instantly that I was forgiven, that God loved me with an everlasting love, that all my sins—past, present and future—were covered by his blood and his grace, and that he had a purpose for my life. I’ve needed God’s forgiveness many times since, but that assurance

Tithe is reserved by God for Himself. It is an expression of God’s sovereignty over man. It is holy unto Him. God considers the use of tithe for personal needs as robbery. So, it is a snare to whoever eats it. Not paying tithe is an act of robbery against God (Mal. 3:8), and the blessings associated with tithe paying will be missing in the life of such individual. The believer who fails or refuses to pay his tithe, not only denies God due worship with his substance, but also withholds his own blessings (Mal. 3:10). Many argue that they don’t pay tithes because God doesn’t come down to take the tithes – that it is eaten by pastors. But the tithe is used for evangelism, church projects, welfare of the poor, orphans and widows, in addition t

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2018 Topic: EFFECTIVE PRAYERS Text: Read: Romans 2:13 Daily Bible Study: Num. 1-2; Mk. 2 “For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified” (Rom. 2:13). Prayer is our greatest form of communication with a holy and righteous God who has provided a way for us to not only worship Him but to also know Him personally. Through prayer, we discover the depths of God's mercy and love for us. Prayer is our means of confessing our sins, and receiving God’s forgiveness. It is also our means of asking and receiving blessings from God. In spite of these advantages, many till avoid prayer. The Bible tells us that, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (Jas. 5:16). Who then is a righteous man and how does he pray effectively? Righteousness means doing what is right according to the Word of God. A righteous man wants to see God's Truth and will establ
SEX IS SWEET BUT. Have you ever wondered why God carefully positioned a membrane of blood in a lady’s sexual opening? It is a thiny membrane that partially or completely covers the opening of the vagina. It is called the “HYMEN”. Why would God-Our Maker put a breakable tissue full of blood at the very door of the sexual opening of the female? Why is it so carefully placed at that entrance, like a ribbon tied at the entrance of a new house about to be launched? Why is it filled with blood that spills away when it is broken? Why? Without doubt, the HYMEN IS A GATE! It was God (our creator) who set that blood- filled vessel there as a covenant blockage, a sign and a token of a covenant between the bearer and whoever plunges into her opening. Before God, the disvirginity of a lady is not a casual act of fun. It is a serious covenant struck and confirmed by the blood shed on that day. This is God’s way of saying, “Whoever plunges into this woman shall only be able to do so by making a blo

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2018 Topic: AVOID ONE-SIDED RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD Text: Read: John 15:5 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 26-27; Ps. 29 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5). Do you have people in your life who only come to you when they want something from you? Conversations that always revolve around the other person's needs make it hard to develop true friendship. These one-sided relationships can lead to us feeling used and manipulated. Yet that is exactly what we do to God when we only approach Him in prayer with a list of needs and desires. We often give God our long lists of prayer requests without spending any time praising Him, thanking Him for our past blessings, or seeking a relationship with Him. We pray concerning future events without acknowledging His help in the past. Our forgetfulness is an indication of our in
*🌀I JUST SAW THIS NICE STORY WITH A  WONDERFUL LESSON AND THOUGHT TO SHARE IT WITH YOU, PLEASE ENJOY:* An old King realized that if he died he had no one to take over his throne. He decided to adopt a son. He launched a competition and 10 boys made it to the top. The King said to them, "I have one last test and whoever comes top will become my adopted son and heir to my throne". He gave each boy a seed of corn and told them to take the seed home, plant and nurture it for 3 weeks. The 10 boys took their seeds and ran home to plant their seeds. In one home, the boy and his parents were sad when the seed failed to sprout. The boy had diligently done everything required but he failed. His friends advised him to buy a seed and plant it, but his God fearing parents who had always taught him honesty refused. The day to give account to the King came and the 10 boys went to the palace. All the other 9 boys were successful with their seeds. The King went to each boy aski

When Benhadad king of Syria besieged Samaria, they ran out of food after many days and there was a “great famine” in the land. Cornered by difficult conditions, the King blamed Prophet Elisha. But Elisha was not afraid; rather, he demonstrated his confidence in God and prophesied what would happen the next day. This is the kind of confidence we all need to have in God and avoid worrying about the economy, relationships, health, and other events in the world. The Bible teaches that God already knows the future. If we trust in Him, we will have peace. He is always ready to take away our burdens, meet our needs, and direct our steps. Confidence in God is available to all who know Hi

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2018 Topic: OUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS THANKSGIVING Text: Read: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 22-23; Ps. 28 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thess. 5:18). The Lord is the Almighty and worthy of our thanksgiving, honour and praise. No service can be greater than this. Some people do not see the need to participate in their church or fellowship thanksgiving events because they claim that all has not been well with them, so they see no reason to be thankful. There may have been business setbacks, examination failures, lack of promotion, job loses, death of loved ones and other seemingly adverse situations. But the very fact that we are still alive is enough reason to be thankful. As Christians, we should cultivate the habit of giving thanks to God, no matter the situations we are facing because what seems adverse to the human eye may be part of God’s gre

CANCER IS NOT DEADLY Dr. Muthami says,  No one must die of cancer except out of carelessness; (1). First step is to stop all sugar intake, without sugar in your body, cancer cell would die a natural death. (2). Second step is to blend a whole lemon fruit with a cup of hot water and drink it for about 1-3 months first thing before food and cancer would disappear, research by Maryland College of Medicine says, it's 1000 times better than chemotherapy. (3). Third step is to drink 3 spoonfuls of organic coconut oil, morning and night and cancer would disappear, you can choose any of the two therapies after avoiding sugar. Ignorance  is no excuse. Let everyone around you know, it's a sacrilege for anyone this day to die of cancer; God bless.
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 Topic: WALLS OF PROTECTION Text: Read: Proverbs 25:28 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 20-21; Matt. 28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Prov. 25:28). In Old Testament times, walls around a city were a symbol of strength and security. Without walls, a town would be left open to easy attack, not just from humans, but even from wild animals. When Prophet Nehemiah realized that the walls around the city of Jerusalem were in ruins, he wept and mourned certain days; fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). As it is to a city, so it is to an individual; a person who has no self-control is like a city without walls. He or she is open to enemy attacks at any given moment. When we fail to exercise self-control, the spirits of lying, gossips, backbiting, hatred, tribalism, racism, jealousy, rage, frustration, bearing false witness, and more, can enter our
YOU GREATEST ENEMY Who killed Samson? Delilah or the Philistines? None of these options is correct. Permit me to tell you how Even if there were 10,000 Philistine soldiers, they couldn't have defeated Samson. Do you know why?  Samson's strength was not of this world; it was divine. As long as no one can defeat God, no army could have defeated Samson no matter how strong or many Samson was raised a terror for the Philistines. He killed a lion with his bare hands, lifted the gate of a city on his shoulder and walked over 46 miles; he killed 300 Philistines soldiers with a jaw bone. What if he got a spear or sword? So, who killed Samson? The answer is Samson. Yes! Samson killed himself! A man is his greatest enemy. What an enemy cannot do to a man, he would do to himself. Samson killed himself. He delivered himself to the lap of Delilah and used his own mouth to tell the secret of his power. His life promised so much but delivered so little The Bible says, "People

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2018 Topic: BEWARE OF THE MASTER OF DECEPTION Text: Read: 1 Peter 5:8 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 18-19; Ps. 27 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet. 5:8). Popular culture portrays Satan as a red creature with horns and a pitchfork. But in reality he manifests in less menacing and less obvious forms. He is the evil master of deception and camouflage, adept at sneaking into peoples’ lives undetected. As Scripture tells us, “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Cor. 11:14). To fight this enemy, we must first recognize him. He may come disguised as a friend, but his aim is to deceive us and make us to live as enemies against God our Father. Satan fell because of questioning God's supreme authority. Since the time of Adam and Eve, the devil has continued to spread this rebellious thought-pattern to humanity. Man is alwa
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2018 Topic: DEFEATING APOSTASY Text: Read: 1 Corinthians 15:57 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 16-17; Matt. 27 “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Cor. 15:57). One way by which the enemy leads us into apostasy is by inspiring us to do things through our own power and intellect instead of relying or consulting God. In the book of Numbers 16 we learn about Korah, who appears to have been articulate and charismatic. He probably wondered why God had chosen poor, stammering Moses as a leader instead of himself. Korah rebelled against Moses' authority even though Moses was God's choice. Moses' response to Korah's attack was to go down on his face before the Lord (Num. 16:4). God responded quickly. The ground opened up and swallowed Korah and his 240 supporters, and a plague killed 14,700 more. Korah's rebellion led to tragedy for himself and for others as well. Sin
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2018 Topic: WHEN FACED WITH EVENTS OF LIFE Text: Read: Hebrews 13:5, 6 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 14-15; Ps. 26 “…. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Heb. 13:5). When faced with various life events whether good or bad, a believer should be armed with faith that is built upon the word of God. Knowing what God says about us and His will concerning the issues of life is paramount to living a stable Christian life and our source of stability and strength when various circumstances arise. Our God is faithful; He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can endure (1 Cor. 10:13). We should learn to trust in the Lord, knowing that he will not fail nor forsake us (Heb. 13:5). This faith becomes a shield to us and is pleasing to God. The book of Romans 8:28 says “… all things work together for good to them that love God…” We can therefore put our trust in Him, not depending on our own understanding of the situati

THE 99 CLUB There once lived a king who, despite living a luxurious life, was neither happy nor content. One day, the king came upon a common peasant who was singing happily while he worked. The happiness of a common peasant fascinated the king. Why was the ruler of the land with all the luxuries, unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly peasant had so much joy in his life? So the king asked the man, "why are you so happy?" The man replied, "Your Majesty, I am a common man, but my family and I don't need much, "Just warm food to fill us and a roof over our heads." Dissatisfied with the man's answer, the king sought the advice of one of his trusted advisors. The advisor said, "Your Majesty, I believe that the man has not yet been made part of the 99 club." "The 99 club, what is that?", inquired the king. "Your Majesty, to understand the 99 club, you first need to place 99 gold coins in a bag and leave it on the man
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2018 Topic: OUR ATTITUDE TO GOD’S TASKS Text: Read: Acts 9:1-6 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 12-13; Matt. 26 “…Lord, what will thou have me to do?...” (Acts 9:6). In God’s service, it is not what we want that matters but what our heavenly Father decides we should do for Him. We are His bondmen redeemed to Him by the blood of Jesus Christ His Son and our Saviour. Our tasks can either be in an exalted position or in a lowly and obscure duty post. What should be of primary interest to us is that we are found worthy to be called to service by Him. It is a privilege we should be grateful for. Secondly, we must realize that there is a reward for service. This knowledge should propel us to give our best in whatever we are called to do. The book of Hebrews 12:2, tells us that Jesus, “for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”. There is a Joy of
Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2018 Topic: STANDING FIRM Text: Read: 2 Thessalonians 2:15 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 10-11; Ps. 25 “Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught whether by word, or our epistle” (2 Thess. 2:15). Apostle Paul informed the young believers in the busy seaport of Thessalonica that they would suffer hardships and persecution for their beliefs. He knew their beliefs would be tested and so encouraged them to be prepared and to overcome by standing firm on the doctrines of Christ received from the apostles. Today, just as in the time of the Thessalonians, our faith in Christ is constantly under attack. Christian beliefs are laughed at and criticized by the heathen, who lack adequate knowledge of the word of God. In many places, Christians are not even allowed to preach, conduct evangelism, and have public prayers or to meet and worship. Our moral values are also under attack. How should we r
