JANUARY 06, 2019

I woke up late, around 8.30am. Washed my car myself. Informed the Etims I will pick them up around 9,40am.
Eventually left with Ify for the organ around 9.38am. Picked up the Etims around 9.48am. Got to the organ just before 10am when service opens.
Good service. Pastor Okochi apologized for his utterance at the last Bible Studies class. Bro. Kevin also apologized to the congregation, and especially to Pastor Okochi for his attitude at the last study session.
Prepared the levy books for 2019. Before driving home, drove first to Tantalizers, Sabo to get some stuff and returned back to the organ. Spent some minutes waiting for Ify and sorted out issues with the Leader and the Pastor.
Eventually left the organ around 2.20pm with the Etims and dropped them off before driving home with Ify.
Washed and layer ironed my office branded shirt. Ify sent me to deliver some ice blocks to B-Lounge.
Power failure later in the night. Put on the generator for about an hour before power returned. Ify attended to several of her customers. Went to bed around 10.30pm, watched YouTube for about an hour and slept off.

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 Topic: WALLS OF PROTECTION Text: Read: Proverbs 25:28 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 20-21; Matt. 28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Prov. 25:28). In Old Testament times, walls around a city were a symbol of strength and security. Without walls, a town would be left open to easy attack, not just from humans, but even from wild animals. When Prophet Nehemiah realized that the walls around the city of Jerusalem were in ruins, he wept and mourned certain days; fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). As it is to a city, so it is to an individual; a person who has no self-control is like a city without walls. He or she is open to enemy attacks at any given moment. When we fail to exercise self-control, the spirits of lying, gossips, backbiting, hatred, tribalism, racism, jealousy, rage, frustration, bearing false witness, and more, can enter our...
POLITICS (PLEASE POST YOUR OPINION) Donald Trump will tonight hand out his inaugural ‘fake news awards’ to the media outlets that have most angered him during his first year as President. The Commander in Chief announced the bizarre ceremony in a tweet late Tuesday, writing: ‘I will be announcing THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR on Monday at 5:00 o’clock. ‘Subjects will cover Dishonesty & Bad Reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media. Stay tuned!’ President Trump has been most vociferous in attacking CNN for its supposed ‘fake news’, with the network widely expected to win the majority of gongs. The awards are likely to be ‘handed out’ in a series of scathing tweets from Mr Trump, and it is unclear whether he will present winners with any sort of booby prize. He popularized the term fake news during his White House run, using it to attack reports whose facts he disputes. But Trump’s critics claim it is an easy way of shouting down va...
