Topic: THE ANTIDOTE TO FEAR
Text: Read: Act 18:12-17
Daily Bible Study: Gen. 33-34; Matt. 9

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Tim. 1:7)

Do you live in fear? If you are constantly afraid, then you are living behind bars stronger than steel, even if you don’t see the bars physically. Apostle Paul, along with many other Biblical heroes, discovered the antidote to fear, which is faith in Christ Jesus! When you realize that God is in total control of your life, fear will be banished. In the book of Acts 18:1-17, we see God strengthening Paul at a time when discouragement could have defeated him.
Apostle Paul’s faith in God took away all fear from him. Paul became bold and willing to go to any length to preach the Gospel. To help him, God provided Paul with godly friends like Aquila and Priscilla who came to Corinth from Rome to help and strengthen Paul at a time he really needed true believers around him, to help him. God also encouraged Paul in his ministry by helping him perform great signs and wonders. This strengthened Paul and assured him that God was with him. Additionally, God spoke to Paul in visions, urging him to go ahead and win more souls (Acts 18:9-10).
If we strike out fear and bring in faith, we make ourselves ready vessels for God’s use. When you desire to honour and serve God, He will provide for your every need. When your life's goal is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, God will always minister to you and supply your needs.

Prayer: Merciful God, thank You for Your loving kindness unto me. Increase my faith and encourage me to do Your will and serve You fearlessly. I pray in Jesus’ name – Amen.

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 Topic: WALLS OF PROTECTION Text: Read: Proverbs 25:28 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 20-21; Matt. 28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Prov. 25:28). In Old Testament times, walls around a city were a symbol of strength and security. Without walls, a town would be left open to easy attack, not just from humans, but even from wild animals. When Prophet Nehemiah realized that the walls around the city of Jerusalem were in ruins, he wept and mourned certain days; fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). As it is to a city, so it is to an individual; a person who has no self-control is like a city without walls. He or she is open to enemy attacks at any given moment. When we fail to exercise self-control, the spirits of lying, gossips, backbiting, hatred, tribalism, racism, jealousy, rage, frustration, bearing false witness, and more, can enter our...
