Topic: GOD IS THE SOURCE OF OUR ABILITIES
Text: Read: Exodus 9:27
Daily Bible Study: Ex. 3-4; Matt. 14

“And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked” (Ex. 9:27).

When Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh, the Lord was the one guiding them. They knew God had called them, and they answered, regardless of the obstacles before them. Both men knew there was no room for compromise. Therefore, when Moses instructed Aaron to touch the Nile River with the staff, Aaron did what Moses said, and the river flowed with blood.
The Egyptians worshipped this river. To them, it was a vital source of life. Without its waters, the Egyptians would die. God always knows how to get the enemy's attention. Pharaoh realized God's power rested on Moses, but stubbornly refused to listen until the death of his first born and those of all other Egyptians.
Moses was called to do a certain task. God empowered him for the work and gave him the ability he needed. There was no confusion about who was at work in Moses' life – it was God! To be effective continually in God’s service, you must remember that He is the source of your power. Never confuse or compare your human strength and ability with that of God Almighty. Never place so much emphasis on what God is doing through you that you think you are better than others. There is great danger in taking pride in what God is doing through you. Give God all the glory! And He will continue to use you for more exploits.

Prayer:  Everlasting Father, thank You for Your Word that guides me in Your way. Let Your Holy Spirit use me to accomplish great and mighty things, I pray in Jesus’ name – Amen.

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 Topic: WALLS OF PROTECTION Text: Read: Proverbs 25:28 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 20-21; Matt. 28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Prov. 25:28). In Old Testament times, walls around a city were a symbol of strength and security. Without walls, a town would be left open to easy attack, not just from humans, but even from wild animals. When Prophet Nehemiah realized that the walls around the city of Jerusalem were in ruins, he wept and mourned certain days; fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). As it is to a city, so it is to an individual; a person who has no self-control is like a city without walls. He or she is open to enemy attacks at any given moment. When we fail to exercise self-control, the spirits of lying, gossips, backbiting, hatred, tribalism, racism, jealousy, rage, frustration, bearing false witness, and more, can enter our...
