JANUARY 03, 2019

I took today off from work, so I was in bed late into the morning. Planned to visit the hospital later today to have a doc look into my swollen foot.
Drove out late in the afternoon, first to an ATM close by and withdrew 5k. I later drove down to Sabo (Ile ekpo Oba), packed in front of Tantalizers at Nipco Filling Station . I then went to the phone technician's. Had to wait for over 30minutes for him to return from the toilet he went to visit. My charging point was the problem. While working on my phone, I crossed the road to the 'aboki' area to buy some items. It took about 30mins for him to get the phone done. He did a good job, and i was so happy the phone is back to normal condition. I parted with Eight Hundred Naira.
Meanwhile, my old pal from Yabatech, Femi Kukoyi has been calling. Wants us to hang out and for me to use the opportunity to see his new property he just moved into at Beribe. He gave me directions and I finally went to him, postponing my hospital visit.
Kukoyi has really done well for himself. So impressed with him. His competed 3 bedroom bungalow stood on a full plot of land. He was the first to move into the close and named it after himself... Olufemi Close. Imagine that! Genuinely happy for him, joo. He kept encouraging me to move into my own property too.
Left Kukoyi's around 7.30pm straight home. Uneventful night. Slept early because I have to leave early for work tomorrow morning.
