Daily Bible Study:  Genesis 24-25; Psalm 10.

and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God (Acts 14:22).

It is not uncommon to hear companies conclude their adverts for bonanzas and bonus offers with the remark, Terms and conditions apply. Same could be said of Gods offer of salvation through Christ Jesus. Our salvation is free but it did not come without a price. It cost God the life of His dear Son  Jesus!

We cannot continue in sin and expect grace to keep flowing. Gods offer of salvation in the book of John 3:16 has a condition attached to it  whosoever believes. Believing in the Son of God needs to be unwavering and our faith in God should grow stronger as we continue to serve Him and witness His wonders in our lives. As believers, we are to continue in the faith even in the face of persecution. The Church in Smyrna (Rev. 2:8-11) was undergoing enormous persecution and the message from the Spirit of the Lord to the church was that the brethren should remain faithful unto death in order to be assured of salvation in Christ Jesus and eternity with Him.

No matter the excuses some believers may have for committing sin or backsliding, the condition God gave for entering into His kingdom does not change  we must quit from sin, be holy and live in righteousness! And for this, we need the Holy Spirit always. You can only get the prize if the rules of engagement are kept. Live your life daily; remembering that belief in Christ and continuation in the faith, even unto death, is non-negotiable. Aspire to make heaven and always remember that Gods terms and conditions apply!

Prayer: Almighty God, please help me to live my life daily in accordance with Your terms and conditions, I pray in Jesus name  Amen.
