Topic: A GLORIOUS INHERITANCE
Text: Read: Ephesians 1:13-14
Daily Bible Study: Gen. 35-36; Ps. 9

“…ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory” (Eph.1:13-14).

What is the ultimate purpose of being adopted as a child of God? Is it salvation, forgiveness, justification or cleansing? All are part of it, but the ultimate purpose of our adoption is the inheritance of glory. The book of Romans 8:17 says, “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…that we may be also glorified together.”
Everything that Jesus Christ received by divine right, believers in Christ will also receive from Him by divine grace. After death, we inherit this heavenly estate. That is why Apostle Paul said “to die is gain” (Phil. 1:21). For the believer, physical death is not an enemy; because it takes us into the presence of God.

We should note that the Spirit of God turns our groans into glory. The book of Roman 8:18 says: “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with glory which shall be revealed in us”. Whatever problem makes you groan, turn it over to God. He will turn your groaning into glory. All the pain, hurt, suffering and agony are nothing compared to the Father's glory that you will one day inherit. Rest and rejoice in the Truth that the Spirit of God is giving you the ultimate victory. He is guaranteeing and sealing your adoption and turning your groaning into glory.

Prayer: Gracious Father, thank You for the glorious inheritance promised to us Your children. Please grant us Your grace to enable us face our trials and gain the glory You have in store for us. We pray in Jesus’ name – Amen.

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 Topic: WALLS OF PROTECTION Text: Read: Proverbs 25:28 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 20-21; Matt. 28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Prov. 25:28). In Old Testament times, walls around a city were a symbol of strength and security. Without walls, a town would be left open to easy attack, not just from humans, but even from wild animals. When Prophet Nehemiah realized that the walls around the city of Jerusalem were in ruins, he wept and mourned certain days; fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). As it is to a city, so it is to an individual; a person who has no self-control is like a city without walls. He or she is open to enemy attacks at any given moment. When we fail to exercise self-control, the spirits of lying, gossips, backbiting, hatred, tribalism, racism, jealousy, rage, frustration, bearing false witness, and more, can enter our...
