Topic: REQUIREMENTS FOR LIVING WITH ETERNITY IN VIEW
Text: Read: Hebrews 12:14
Daily Bible Study: Gen. 41-42; Matt. 11

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14)

For every believer with eternity in view, certain requirements relevant to achieving this goal are expected to be made. God is a holy God and cannot behold evil (Hab. 1:13). As pilgrims on our journey to eternity, we must live our lives in holiness unto the Lord all the days of our lives.  As obedient children, we should live in holiness in order to please God.
For progress in our Christian race, we must feed on God’s word regularly and conscientiously. This will keep us far away from evil and help us know God in a better way, walking before Him in truth and in spirit. The word of God should be our standard and must be applied in all situations of our lives. Daily study and meditation on God’s word will make us prosper, and have good success in all our endeavours.
We need the baptism of the Holy Spirit to teach us what we ought to know. He will bring to our remembrance all that we have been taught. We need Him to counsel, help and lead us into all truth. No believer with eternity in view can go far without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Our lives should be a pointer to others that living in eternity with God is the ultimate goal we should aspire to achieve. We must strive daily to live in God’s glory. Through prayer we cast our cares and burden on God and in return, receive the enabling power to carry on our life’s journey.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your peace upon our lives. Help us to enjoy Your divine protection as we pass through life’s journey to eternity. We pray in Jesus’ name – Amen.

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 Topic: WALLS OF PROTECTION Text: Read: Proverbs 25:28 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 20-21; Matt. 28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Prov. 25:28). In Old Testament times, walls around a city were a symbol of strength and security. Without walls, a town would be left open to easy attack, not just from humans, but even from wild animals. When Prophet Nehemiah realized that the walls around the city of Jerusalem were in ruins, he wept and mourned certain days; fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). As it is to a city, so it is to an individual; a person who has no self-control is like a city without walls. He or she is open to enemy attacks at any given moment. When we fail to exercise self-control, the spirits of lying, gossips, backbiting, hatred, tribalism, racism, jealousy, rage, frustration, bearing false witness, and more, can enter our...
