Topic: DESTROYING THE DESTROYERS
Text: Read: Ephesians 6:10-18
Daily Bible Study: Ex. 39-40; Matt. 23

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil” (Eph. 6:11).

In the book of Ephesians 6:10-18, Apostle Paul described the armour of the Christian as loins of truth; breastplates of righteousness, shield of faith; and helmet of salvation. You will see that all are for defense, except the sword, which is the word of God, and this is for battle. Jesus terminated His battle with the devil in the wilderness by saying, “it is written…”

Therefore brethren, prevailing prayers must involve our entire being and faculties of our spirit, body, soul, heart and brain. We must have full concentration and dedication if we intend to overcome the evil forces seeking our destruction; avert the evil our enemies are sending our way; dethrone evil kings and demonic kingdoms; and overthrow satanic citadels, principalities and powers. Holiness ensures that the enemy has nothing to hold unto or where to attack you from. Holiness both inside and outside makes the arrow of the wicked to bounce off you.

We must strive hard to root out every evil plantation in our lives. We must pull down strong holds which protect the enemy; we must let go of every sin, which gives the enemy access to our lives; we must raise the banner of God and overthrow any rulership contrary to that of God. We must bind evil forces and lose their captivities. Nothing can withstand the power of the Holy Spirit. We need Him now and always!

Prayer: Dear Lord, let every evil counsel, plan, imagination, device and activity of the enemy targeted at destroying my life be rendered null and void, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 Topic: WALLS OF PROTECTION Text: Read: Proverbs 25:28 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 20-21; Matt. 28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Prov. 25:28). In Old Testament times, walls around a city were a symbol of strength and security. Without walls, a town would be left open to easy attack, not just from humans, but even from wild animals. When Prophet Nehemiah realized that the walls around the city of Jerusalem were in ruins, he wept and mourned certain days; fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). As it is to a city, so it is to an individual; a person who has no self-control is like a city without walls. He or she is open to enemy attacks at any given moment. When we fail to exercise self-control, the spirits of lying, gossips, backbiting, hatred, tribalism, racism, jealousy, rage, frustration, bearing false witness, and more, can enter our...
