Topic: JESUS CHRIST THE ONLY SAVIOUR
Text: Read: 2 Corinthians 4:3-6
Daily Bible Study: Lev. 8-9; Matt. 25

“For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord” (2 Cor. 4:5).

God's truth is always attacked by the enemies of righteousness. Many modify the message of Christ and water down the truth of the Gospel to appease and swell their congregations. These false messages come from Satan, the god of this world. He continues to deceive and blinds the spiritual eye of many to the truth of God’s Word. Many actually prefer to hear these lies because the truth is too hard for them to accept.

While many seek to modify the true Gospel, we must preach Christ, who loves us so much that He chose to die a criminal's death on the cross in order to pay for our sins and to set us free.
Christ's payment for our sins is the only source of our salvation. We must preach Christ, who healed the sick, raised the dead, made the lame to walk, cast out demons and set the captives free. There is no higher knowledge that can help us connect with God – we come to God through Christ and Christ alone.
Our God is a loving Father, but He will not bend His Truth to make people comfortable in their sins. As believers, it is crucial for us to know the truth, be firmly grounded in it, and stand for Christ in a world of compromise. Pray to God to help you recognize when you encounter heresies and to avoid them. Ask God for the grace to speak the truth always and boldly testify of His greatness to all mankind.

Prayer: Merciful God, help me not to be fooled by the deceptions of this world. Please strengthen me in Your Word and give me the courage to speak the truth always. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ – Amen.

Good morning Beloved Brethren, Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018 Topic: WALLS OF PROTECTION Text: Read: Proverbs 25:28 Daily Bible Study: Lev. 20-21; Matt. 28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Prov. 25:28). In Old Testament times, walls around a city were a symbol of strength and security. Without walls, a town would be left open to easy attack, not just from humans, but even from wild animals. When Prophet Nehemiah realized that the walls around the city of Jerusalem were in ruins, he wept and mourned certain days; fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). As it is to a city, so it is to an individual; a person who has no self-control is like a city without walls. He or she is open to enemy attacks at any given moment. When we fail to exercise self-control, the spirits of lying, gossips, backbiting, hatred, tribalism, racism, jealousy, rage, frustration, bearing false witness, and more, can enter our...
