Good morning Beloved Brethren,

Topic: GOD LIKES TO USE A WILLING HEART
Text: Read: Acts 2:4, 38-39
Daily Bible Study: Ex. 23-24; Matt. 19

“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Cor. 1:9).

God is always looking for men and women, children, youths and adults who are available to do His work. In the book of Judges 6:34: “…the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon…" The verb “came upon” means “to put on or clothe.” God’s Spirit came upon Gideon, equipping him with the power to fulfill God’s purposes and serve God’s people.
God is not looking for the most courageous and most powerful men; nor the best strategists or thinkers. He is looking for men who, conscious of their own weakness, are nevertheless willing. He is looking for men who will depend on God's power, not their own. He is looking for men who are willing to grow in faith, who are willing to take God at His word, though they might ask for several confirmations to be sure. God is looking for men through whom He will demonstrate His unparalleled faithfulness and awesome power.
Even those filled with and directed by God’s Spirit sometimes experience fear or uncertainty in difficult circumstances. But God always encourages and grants them favour in those unlikely circumstances. As you follow God’s will, He gives you resources to guide and enable you keep His commandments and instructions. It's all for His glory, that His power might be displayed through you. God can be trusted to do exactly what He has promised. All He wants is our willing hearts.

Prayer:  Dear Father, thank You for wanting to use us even when we are not qualified. Grant us the grace to fully trust in Your guidance and power in every situation. We pray in Jesus’s name – Amen.
